Autoimmune Solution: Invest In Yourself, Not Big Pharma

Disease starts slowly- in a gradual, rotting way. Autoimmune disease can be a spectrum of disorders, but they all have common roots. From dire, life destroying diseases like Chrohn’s, Diabetes, or Rheumatoid Arthritis to inflammatory conditions like eczema or hair loss. It’s the body attacking itself.

Where am I going wrong?

Our immune system is meant to protect us from the outside world (think stranger-danger), so why does it turn on us? The immune system is normally involved in maintenance and repairing of the body (recovering from muscle tear, infection, etc.) but it becomes an issue when it begins attacking healthy, normal tissue.

This can begin happening when we’re over-stressed, not getting enough sleep, have a nutritional deficiency, consuming inflammatory foods, or due to a leaky gut. And it will continue to manifest over time if unhealthy habits continue.

So, what should I do?

In short, reduce the need of your immune system’s activation. Autoimmune disease is manageable. You can put a chronic health condition into remission. And, you can do it without medication. Instead of spending your life seeing doctors, dermatologists, and taking toxic medication, focus on yourself, your body, and your diet. Nutrition is undeniably fundamental.

  • Go gluten free and dairy free.
  • Consume anti-inflammatory foods.
  • Avoid Genetically Modified foods and conventionally grown foods (eat and drink organically certified as often as possible).
  • Eat grass-fed, responsibly raised meats without antibiotics, hormones or GMOs.
  • Increase your antioxidant intake.
  • Commit to daily exercise.
  • Reduce your stress, get rest, and follow these free health elevating tips.
  • Do not use toxic chemicals in or around your home- limit your exposure to such toxins.

Some people say, oh I can’t do that. You can do it, and it’s easier than you think. Wouldn’t you rather remove gluten from your diet than remove your gut or thyroid from your body? Conventional medicine suppresses the symptoms and creates more disease. You’ll see this in any case study and even enclosed in your medication’s side-effect list.

Medicine is the third leading cause of death.

Studies, including one by researchers at John Hopkin’s, show that medical mistakes are the third leading cause of death. Medical mistakes range from surgical complications that go unrecognized to incorrect dosages and types of medications prescribed to patients.

Drugs do not cure disease. In fact, they contribute to it worsening. Western medical doctors do NOT treat root cause, they treat symptoms. They do not look at alternative treatments or diet, they only know what their pharmaceutical-funded education taught them: pharmaceuticals.

If you are already on medication, don’t go cold turkey (there can be health risks). But start incorporating the bullet points above and work with your doctor to continue reducing your medication until you can go off it completely.
